The 6th Company of Emperor’s Children were created from the geneseed of their Primarch during the First Founding of Space Marines, but their true origin lay in the aftermath of the Battle of Skalathrax. Prior to the Horus Heresy the Company was one of the best fighting forces in the Imperium, and many planets surrendered instead of facing the wrath of the Children of the Emperor. They lost none of their prowess during the Heresy; some would say they gained power by turning their hearts from the Emperor’s Grace. Yet after Skalathrax the Emperor’s Children Legion was scattered, and the 6th Company was one of the many warbands resulting from the planetary defeat. The Company Apothecary, Lt. Lazarus Durne, rallied one fragment of the 6th Company and led them from the ice world, swearing dark oaths of vengeance upon the World Eaters Chapter that scattered them.

Lord Commander Lusario was reported to have participated in the events surrounding the 13th Crusade. After the assault upon Vigilatum, assisting Lucius the Eternal in the conquest of the planet, all records of their activities have been lost in the aftermath.
