Downloaded the Squad Command Demo for the PSP, comes with one mission.
From their site:
# Compelling single player game consisting of 13 unique missions
# 9 unique multiplayer maps for Local or Global games, with small, medium and large map variants to cater for games from 2 to 8 players
# Fully destructible, real time 3D battlefields mean that no two games will be the same
# Pick from two Space Marine chapters or two Chaos Space Marine Legions to play as in Multiplayer games, in battles between Imperium vs. Imperium, Forces of Chaos vs. Forces of Chaos, or Imperium vs. Forces of Chaos
# Over 20 ranged and close combat weapons taken directly from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, including the Bolter, Plasma Gun, Chainsword and Power Fist
Read more for my opinions of the demo.
The game is a turned based game between two players. With the normal "Overwatch" (cone of response).
Graphics look good, though you can only play Ultramarines (against Chaos, ooh the insanity).
Controls took a bit to get use to. You move with the arrows and look with the joystick.
Your basically either in movement mode (Turn based) or shooting (aiming, and then AP to fire).
The marines can each take (this is only the demo) a bolter and a chainsword or plasmagun.
The marines move around the map (using APs), and avoid the "cones" from the enemy. If you get in the enemy cones (or they yours) your troops automatically fire. Now this may be good to kill the enemy, but it can also hurt as your guys will shoot into your troops. During the demo, the enemies Terminator kills more of his troops then mine.
The map is hard to get use to (small) and without instructions it took me abit to find out how to shoot (killed several troops with plasmagun fire that does alot of damage).
The mission was simplistic (demo so not complaining).
